The Toy Museum of NY (formerly the Doll and Toy Museum of NYC) was created by Marlene Hochman. The Museum is a not-for-profit educational museum established in 1999. The mission is to educate the public on the importance of dolls and toys in our culture and history through art and plays.
Focused on serving children and families, Ms. Hochman added a children's theatre program in 2010, "Queen Marlene's Toy Theatre," featuring original musical theatre, professional actors, costumes and special effects. The theatre program is available to schools in all five boroughs of New York City.
